Dr. Jimmy Wong has been contributing a lot to the public welfare with his belief to deliver cares, one of the Tung Chun’s core values, to society. Since 1995, he has started to participate in different social services and worked with more than 40 social organizations. He became the Director of Po Leung Kuk in 1996, the Vice Chairman in 1999 and was elected as the Chairman in 2003. He was invited to be the Consultancy of Po Leung Kuk in April of 2004. Moreover, he joined the Lok Sin Tong in 1997 and was elected as the Chairman in 2006. Furthermore, he joined the Pok Oi Hospital in 2000 and became the Vice President in 2003 and the Vice President of Tuen Mun Yan Oi Tong in 2003. Apart from these, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Hong Kong United Youth Association in 2003, became Treasury in 2004 and Vice President in 2005. In addition, he was a member of the Board of Directors of The Hong Kong Chinese Importers’ and Exporters’ Association, the Vice President of the New Territories General Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Electronics & Technologies Association and Hong Kong Federation of Restaurants & Related Trades, a council member of The Hong Kong Institute of Education and Honorary Consultant of Pok Oi Hospital from 2001 to 2008. Currently, he is the Founding President of Hong Kong Society of Medical Professionals, the Vice President of The Hong Kong Girl Guides Association and the Honorary Consultancy Doctor of St. Teresa's Hospital.
